Shuttling back and forth

I come in to work this morning fully expecting to be engrossed in the PI, when Dukhi says that he has assigned me a bug. I am overjoyed to think that I'll be off the PI for some time, only to be told that the bug is on the PI! I got the feeling that I was being groomed as the resident PI expert - a tag I most certainly do not want. God Porgee (GP) has also been assigned 2 bugs on the PI, and we called up an engineer from the client side for some clarifications. It was tough to decipher what he was saying in his Oriental accent.

Later, Veerappan said that the new PI had been discussed in today's call. I had a reqs doc ready to throw at anyone interested. Rishi Kapoor came after lunch asking me to send that doc out for review. He asked me to continue to work on the bug, only to be vetoed by Aunty who told me to stay on the new PI. GP was asked to pick up the bug I had been assigned.
