CMSC 211 Quizzes and Examinations

Quizzes

There will be some undisclosed number of unannounced quizzes given this semester. They may be given in lecture, so you should keep up with the assigned reading during the semester and make sure you attend all classes regularly. There will be no make-ups given for quizzes.

Test

There will be a number of tests given this semester. They will be given in lecture, so you should keep up with the assigned reading during the semester and make sure you attend all classes regularly. Tests will covered a specified group of chapters. They will include material from both the reading and the lectures. Each test is worth 100 points.

The Midterm

The midterm will be given on October 19th, at your normally scheduled lecture time. The Midterm Exam is worth 200 points and will cover all material covered up to the time of the Exam.

The Final Exam

The final exam will be given at on a date to be announced by the University. The Final Exam is worth 400 points and covers all material for the entire course.
