Due to closing of UMBC on Thursday, Sept. 17, there was no lecture that day. Due to power outage on Wednesday evening, the discussion section for Section 202 ended early. The lecture schedule for the week of Sept. 20 will be modified as follows: - For the Tuesday/Thursday lecture: The lecture originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17 will be given Tuesday, Sept. 20. The lecture on Thursday, Sept. 23 will begin the topic "C++ Features and Constructs" (Chapter 3). - For the Monday/Wednesday lecture: The first lecture for the topic "C++ Features and Constructs" (Chapter 3) will be split across Monday, Sept. 20 and Wednedsay, Sept. 22. The Wednesday night lecture will end about 30 miniutes early, with the remaining time devoted to covering what was missed from the discussion section on Wednesday, Sept. 16. - I will not have office hours on Monday evening, Sept. 20. The lecture coverage of "C++ Features and Constructs" will be slightly condensed so that "Array and Pointers" will begin as scheduled for the lectures on Sept. 29 and 30. In addition to these changes, the due date for Project 1 will be extended 24 hours until midnight, Friday Sept. 24. Early submission deadline will also be extended by 24 hours until midnight, Wednesday Sept. 22. If your project is submitted by the early submission deadline, you will receive email notification of the status of your submitted files in terms of whether compilation and execution was successful.
