• Special Unix Labs will be offered next week instead of discussion sections. Although most of the labs are offered during the same time slots as the normal discussion would meet, some labs had to be offered at slightly different times. See the chart of Special Unix Labs from the Discussions link.

• Get an account on the UMBC GL machines.
• Learn how to use a Web browser (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer, Mosiac, Lynx).
• Review the CMSC 201 web pages.
• Review the Arithmetic and Assignment practice pages especially.
